Innovate4India is a Section 8 Not-for-profit Company that aims to promote innovation in areas where India requires it. Our vision is for our research department to investigate existing solutions to India’s most pressing issues and conduct pilot implementations.

Message

Innovate4india drives innovation where India needs Innovation and waste is our top concern.
As we started the journey in July 2020, we worked closely with ULB’s to develop a pilot solution for some of the grassroots challenges that they faced. The first challenge we went on to address was change in citizen behaviour for waste segregation.

Initially, we assumed that once we develop a working model and implemented a few initial pilots, we would transform ground situations and that’s what the missing link is!

With the participation of citizen volunteers, we successfully evolved a model and implemented a few pilots and conducted training for the sanitation dept. to scale up the change.

But very soon we realized that it takes more than just a working model and adopted a more holistic approach to waste systems transformation. Systems setting with an inclusive approach is the answer.
Our next step was to bring together various decision makers, influencers and other stakeholders to build a common vision.
